    The Amazon Marketplace Channel Manager will be responsible for managing key marketplace relationships, driving sales and key metrics, developing marketplace initiatives through partnerships within the eCommerce and Omni-Channel space. This includes focus on development of shared goals, planning and forecasting tools, and training cross-functional teams to leverage Amazon capabilities to drive channel growth. 

    Responsibilities

    • Nurture marketplace relationships to grow the overall channel revenue stream.  This will include developing and delivering training and coaching to channel partners
    • Develop a pipeline of opportunities, forecast accurately, and exceed assigned revenue targets and partner recruitment goals monthly, quarterly, and annually
    • Build trusted advisor relationships by proactively identifying partner business objectives, priorities, capabilities and critical success factors
    • Understand the channel partner organizations, their market, metrics, and strategic goals and matching them to Payless offering to complement their solutions
    • Lead in developing a joint go to market strategy, product road map to strengthen partner’s product offering while leveraging Amazon functionalities. Capture Amazon customer behavior and fashion tendencies, analyze results, and develop cross-departmental recommendations
    • Manage all product listings and Amazon store categories, including design elements, layout, content, imagery, pricing, etc.
    • Oversee the Amazon customer service relationship, dedicated to handling Amazon customer communication, support, and billing
    • Work directly with Amazon to coordinate mutual promotions and daily deals
    • Deliver business metrics to management specifically for the Amazon channel, including product profitability, fulfillment speed, customer feedback, and more

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of evaluating/executing opportunities and partnerships
    • Omnichannel and/or marketplace provider experience preferred
    • Proven track record of being able to turn ideas into in-market initiatives that achieve business results
    • Strong negotiating skills and ability to craft viable partnerships
    • Solid vendor management experience and skills
    • Strong teamwork, cross-functional, and interpersonal skills required
    • Ability to synthesize complex ideas into simple communications
    • BS. / B.A. degree required
