    Overview:
    Through the use of analytics tools the Ecommerce Analytics Analyst is responsible for the building, tracking and reporting of key performance metrics, and for providing relevant and timely customer experience and purchase behavior analysis and recommendations. Payless.com is growing quickly and has big targets to continue growth, you will be an integral part of the team to help achieve these goals.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Develop and oversee the execution of daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and performance insights for key eCommerce strategies
    • Present analysis, insights and recommendations for improving customer experience to executives and other business stakeholders
    • Work closely with analytics vendors and other relevant 3rd parties
    • Support ad-hoc analytics requests
    • Work with merchandising and marketing teams to help determine how to best measure success for their initiatives
    • Work with CRM partners to support multi-channel customer view initiatives
    • Work with IT partners to provide information about website performance
    • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience and drive business results
    • Provide analysis and present findings with recommendations to management
    • Work with IT, user experience and A/B testing partners to bring recommendations to life
    • Analyze performance to gauge results of site enhancements and provide data-driven business insights

    Qualifications

     

    • 2-4 years’ experience analyzing web or digital marketing metrics
    • BA/BS degree, preferably in in Computer Science, MIS, Statistics, or Mathematics
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    • SQL capabilities, preferred
    • Ability to understand performance data, draw conclusions and make recommendations
    • Ability to effectively balance various tasks simultaneously and adapt to competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a group
    • Enthusiastic and self-motivated with a desire to learn new tools and technologies
    • Ability to translate business problems into actionable metrics
    • Driven to succeed and a natural problem solver
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
    • Experience working with analytics tools such as Omniture Site Catalyst, Google Analytics, Coremetrics, WebTrends, ect.
    • Direct retail experience preferred, although not required
    • Familiarity with web technologies including HTML and Javascript
